Canon Production Diary

On the first day I mainly experimented with the camera and tried figuring out exactly what I wanted to do, I discovered that I wanted to do something involving the moon. I then came up with showing different

On the second day I captured my first image, I took many images but finally settled on one, I then went into Photoshop and played around with it until I was happy.

I then captured then second and third images and repeated the process of editing. I had now made three distinct but cohesive images for my project

I lost one of my images so I went back to take another, I then managed to make this fit into the theme, I added the canon logo go and my slogan which correlated with the idea of the campaign

Foe my third image i saw the perfect opportunity when the sun was setting, it was shot after a journey to Marsden Beach. Everything lined up perfectly with the sun setting and everyone walking off into the distance. It almost looks surreal.

For my second image i took it one the way home from town, the atmosphere felt like it was full of sorrow hence why i edited it to appear more dirty or gritty.

The first image i took just after i got off the metro on my way home, the grass was already vibrant so i decided to emphasise that even more by increasing the saturation. This photo was not intended to be used but it looked perfect with the glow of the moonlight so i based my campaign around this.

I used my knowledge of camera angles to perfectly fit everything i, this helped me draw attention to the focal point of the image ( the moon and sun ) I took the images from a low angle so the sun and moon looked a lot bigger almost as if it is more important than everything else.

For this i used the canon camera which made the images a very good quality and greatly showed the potential of the product.
