Canon Final Analysis

 I believe that for my canon campaign i was very successful at following the brief. My images were all very cohesive and fully related to the theme of journeys. They included a unique aspect with the idea of the setting sun and bright moon which shines through the logo.

 Also the fact that the logo is not always fully clear shows a sense of brand identity, suggesting that canon is almost the best camera brand because it is so recognisable, this is important for the audience because it makes them trust the brand more.

The idea of my journey is more metaphorical, it is more of a progression than a journey however in this context it still works, showing the journey of the night and the progression of it. The journey took in total 3 days because i had to take an image of different stages of the night timing became and issue, so it was best to take the images on different days rather than rush the images and risk them turning out poorly.

Throughout this i discovered many new skills such as how to effectively work a camera and how to use editing software such as Photoshop.

My campaign fits the brief because it something that the targeted demographic will definitely be interested in, young adults generally go out more at night so the time of day that the images are set in are perfect, also they are more adventurous so the psycho-graphic aspect is there as well. Explorers want more spontaneity and fun so the idea of going out in the night would definitely appeal to them. 

The slogan "see the night from a different lens" is very captivating as it almost summarises the project and draws in the audiences attention. It correlates to the canon camera and the night time theme.

Overall i have learned a lot of new skills from this project from editing to camerawork and i can use this in my ext project, additionally my project is perfect for canon as it prioritises the needs of the audience.
